Marvel Comics Pay Homage to Hip Hop by remaking Classic Hip-Hop Covers

Ant-Man (Notorious B.I.G.’s Redy to Die ). Captain America (ASAP Rocky’s Long.Live.ASAP). Ms. Marvel (Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill). Spiderman/DeadPool(EricB. &Rakim’s Paid in Full).

Marvel Comics show respect to classic Hip Hip album covers such as Wu Tang Clan, Nitourious B.I.G., ODB, A Tribe Called Quest, Tyler the Creator, Lauryn Hill, De La soul, 50 Cent and more Hip Hop artist!

There are more than 50 covers planned.  “For years, Marvel Comics and hip-hop culture have been engaged in outgoing dialogue.” Says Marvel Editor-in-Chief, Axel Alonso at a press release. “Beginning in October, we will shine a spotlight on the seamless relationship between those two unique forces.” 

Hip Hop artist have previously been brought on Marvel comics such as Eminem teaming up with the punisher in ’09 and most recent releas of Run the Jewels varient covers, released for Howard the Duck and Deadpool.
