[Video] Joe Budden Clarifies Comments on #Omeeka + Meek Mill’s Thoughts on Joe Budden’s Comments

Rapper/reality star, Joe Budden has been at the center of a lot of black lash after he made comments on rappers, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj’s relationship following the 2015 BET Awards. A little less than a week ago, Budden was hosting his podcast show when he expressed his thoughts on Meek showing so much love and affection to his lady, Nicki.

Budden calls Meek a “simp” and cited that the fact that Meek makes such hard music is making it hard for him to applaud Meek’s loving demeanor.

Budden said:

“Part of my problem with that is Meek’s music is too hard. Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this fucking sappy fuck-shit. Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it.”

Well Meek did not take too kindly to Budden’s harsh words and took to Twitter to express his thoughts on Budden’s podcast:

Meek sat down with The Breakfast Club today for an interview and he discussed his new album, his relationship with Nicki Minaj, and of course, his Beef with Joe Budden. Watch below:

Joe has been trying to clarify his comments on their relationship and in a recent interview with Hot 97’s Eboro when asked about his remarks on Omeeka, Joe said, “First of all, if there’s anyone that’s for love in the community and to your significant other, it would be me.” He added, “This is what happens on podcasts. You half-heartedly speak on things that might be a hot topic…So the awards came on and the camera guys just showed a lot of shots of Meek blissfully smiling in love. I thought it was funny…so we joked about it on the podcast. I didn’t think it was possible to take it as a serious sentiment. I was talking about lightskin men versus darkskin men. I didn’t think anyone with half a brain would take those comments seriously.”
