Ariana Grande is receiving major backlash online after a security video of her and her new boyfriend, back up dancer,  Ricky Alvarez, surfaced online. In the video, recorded on Saturday, the two are having a pretty steamy PDA session, but that’s not why everyone is in an uproar!

Sources at Woolfe Donuts in Lake Elsinore, CA, claim that Ariana and her crew decided to play truth or dare with the donuts by daring each other to lick the powder off of the powdered jelly donuts on the counter. While there is not confirmation that any tongues actually made contact with the donuts, Ariana’s mouth was extremely close to the donuts in the video. Ariana and her crew also pulled their “prank” while no was watching making the sources suspicious of their actions.

You will also see one of the donut shop employees bring in a tray of large donuts to which Grande says, “What the f*** is that? I hate Americans. I hate America.”

Grande recently announced that she will not be preforming in the Major League Baseball All-Star Concert this weekend. Many believe it’s because of the video just being released however, her team says it’s because she had her wisdom teeth pulled on Monday.

Grande has yet to release a statement about the video.

UPDATE:

Since Ariana’s donut licking scandal, she issued an apology via her social media page:

She captioned the apology: “need to clean up this mouth of mine & set a better example for my babes. I apologize and I love you. Always learning”

The apology is nice and we’re sure that we can all relate to Grande’s sentiments….however, Miss Grande all we really want to know is WHY did you lick the donuts?
