The Cleveland Cavaliers swept the number one seed Atlanta Hawks in convincing fashion last night with a final score of 118-88.
Despite not having their superstar Kevin Love throughout most of the playoffs they have seemed to keep fighting and now all their hard work is starting to pay off.
Lebron James made a bold decision to come back to the team he originally started his career with, but it’s shaping out to be the best move to make. He’s on route to bringing a championship to the city that he once called home.
This will be Lebron’s fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance which no player has done since the 1960’s Boston Celtics players. Lebron is the first in NBA history to have done it with different teams.
The Cavaliers are getting hot at the right time and while they are awaiting the winner of the Golden State and Houston series they will be getting much needed rest.
The NBA Finals begin June 4th on ABC and the Western Conference Champions will have home court advantage during the series.
