Kobe Retiring After Next Season

For one of the most talented and motivated players to ever step foot on the hardwood, the end is nearing.

Kobe announced that after he finishes his 2-year contract with the Lakers he plans on hanging up his jersey.

After being the executive producer of “Kobe Muse” which will air on February 28th, Kobe became fascinated with the work and intends on pursuing a career in this field after retiring.

Through his Hall Of Fame career Kobe has won 5 NBA Titles, 17 All-Star selections, and has 3 Olympic gold medals under his belt.

I could go on with a list of accomplishments for the Black Mamba but the point is that we all know how much he means to the NBA and how different of a league it’s going look without him.

Kobe has inspired a whole generation to pick up a basketball and pursue NBA careers much like Michael Jordan did. He has a great influence on the game and it’s going to be truly missed.

Will the Lakers try to make a run to the NBA Finals for the Black Mamba’s last ride?
