Warren Sapp Arrested following Super Bowl


Former NFL superstar and newly inducted Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was arrested Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute.

The incident occurred in Phoenix following the Super Bowl which Sapp was helping cover with NFL Network.

Phoenix police arrested Sapp on one count of solicitation and two counts of assault. Police say that Sapp met up with two women in a hotel lobby where they discussed money and then a physical altercation broke out into the hotel hallway.

Sapp was then taken to a Phoenix police headquarters for questioning. He admitted to being involved in the prostitution but denied putting his hands on the women.

Since the incident occurred Sapp’s talent page was removed from the NFL Networks website and his contract has been terminated.
