Sony Hackers Threaten 9/11 Style Attacks over “The Interview” Movie

Sony hackers, The Guardians of Peace, strongly believed to be be a North Korean group issued this statement today:

Warning

We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places “The Interview” be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to.

Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.

The world will be full of fear.

Remember the 11th of September 2001.

We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time.
(If your house is nearby, you’d better leave.)

Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

All the world will denounce the SONY.

The movie the interview is about two celebrity interviewers (Seth Rogan and James Franco)  who are assigned by the CIA to assassinate North Korean leader, Kim Jong- Un after they are granted an interview with him.

Despite the hackers releasing emails, medical records, social security numbers, and numerous other confidential information, Sony still plans to release this movie.

Sony exec, Amy Pascal, said in an interview with Deadline:

“No one will tell us what movies to release, ever. Nobody should be able to intimidate a company to not to do its business.

Michael and I are completely confident in it, and determined to release the movie.”

The hackers aren’t done with Sony and have stated that there will be more information released as the premiere date nears. They say this information will put Sony in it’s “worst state.”

I for one had no intentions of seeing the movie either way, but this is a bit much. I think we all raised our eyebrows at the idea of them putting out a movie like this. I understand freedom of speech, but considering our standing relationship with this country I don’t understand why this movie would be made.

Put that pride aside Sony! It’s just not worth it!!
